The Abbott DETERMINE™ HIV Screening Test is a qualitative immunoassay using the lateral flow principle for the simultaneous detection of free HIV-1 p24 antigen (Ag) without immune complex and antibodies (Ab) against HIV-1 and HIV-2 in human plasma and serum samples or in capillary and venous whole blood.
