Women can be tested for Group B streptococci with ease with the Strep B quick test. All you need from the patient is a vaginal or rectal swab to do the test. The sample is then examined using the extraction solution and reagents that are included. After ten minutes, the test results are shown on the test cassette.
The Strep B test features a control line to ensure that the test protocol has been performed correctly and to reduce the possibility of inaccurate measurements due to factors such as using too little sample material.
