Panbio™ COVID-19 Lateral Flow Test

The Abbott Panbio™ COVID-19 Antigen Self-Test is a CE-marked rapid test for detecting acute SARS-CoV-2 infection. It has high sensitivity and specificity, providing reliable results. The test includes all necessary materials and buffer solution in 10 ampoules. It's gentle, easy to use, and requires adult supervision for children under 14.

Test Performance

For test preparation, the extraction tube is first prepared. To do this, the contents of the small ampoule with buffer solution are completely filled into the extraction tube and the tube is then placed in the corresponding holder on the kit box tray.

The sterile swab is then removed from the packaging and the nasal swab is performed according to the instructions for use. The swab with the sample material is dipped into the buffer solution in the extraction tube and stirred at least 5 times and then squeezed out. The swab remains in the extraction tube - the upper part of the stem can easily be broken off. The extraction tube is closed and also placed in the sample tray.

The test cassette is then unpacked and 5 drops of the finished sample solution are dropped into the sample well of the test cassette. The result can be read after 15 minutes.
